Our aim at Marley is to be the leader rather than the follower, to help shape the external fabric of buildings and the designs of tomorrow – today. The sales team is integral to driving this vision forward.

There are four national sales teams, with the large roofing team being further divided into regional teams. Our sales people have a strong and varied skill set including trained Quantity Surveyors, BREEAM Assessors, CAD and an architectural background, and we also have a mixture of undergraduates and post graduates alongside experienced sales people, which all adds to our forward thinking and innovative approach.

Production Operative

Job Profile

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives for our site in Burton. The Production Operative must be capable of being part of a mixed skill team in a high pressure, safety driven, production environment.You should be capable of working safely on your own initiative.

Key Responsibilities

To safely operate production machinery as part of a team ensuring that daily production and quality targets are met

Main Activities

To be able to operate all sections of the production plant.

To comply with all safety requirements i.e. uphold the company safety policy.

To comply with and maintain the company quality standards and requirements.

To fully understand and be able to operate all sections of the plant to ensure daily production and quality targets are met.

Minimise waste, recycle where appropriate and comply with the Company Environmental Policy

To maintain good housekeeping in designated areas.

To be available for progressive training in key skill areas.

To identify and report potential problems with the production facility.

To attend daily production meetings and other meetings as appropriate.

To show a flexible approach to varying work activities.

To participate in Continuous Improvement projects when required.

To participate in and help to improve the 5S standards in your designated area.
