Golf Charity Day

On Thursday 10th May, Marley organised a golf fun day to raise money for two fantastic charities.

28 employees from across the business took time out from their busy schedules to help raise money for two extremely well deserving causes:

SoBS (Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide) and The Christie Hospital in Manchester.

Ashley Simpson, Lab Technician at Keele, who helped to organise the event said “It was a great opportunity for the employees to bond over common ground regardless of position or place of work, and for a great cause. All those who attended enjoyed a day on the golf course with some great prizes thanks to the sponsors (Silvers Creswell, Peter Wegmann, UK Control Panel Services and Kiln Maintenance).”

The teams managed to raise over £900 for the two charities and hope this will become an annual event.
