We have over 800 direct employees within our business but create employment for many more within the local communities through our policy of sourcing materials and services from local businesses, wherever possible.
Where our needs can not be met by a local company, we try to use national companies with operations local to our sites, to ensure our contribution to the local employment market and local economy is maintained at the highest possible level.
Marley ensures that all their staff have the necessary training, support and development opportunities within the company to meet the changing needs of the business. We provide training courses for staff in our purpose built Training Centre, which is fully equipped for both practical and desk top learning, ranging from I.T skills, to product awareness.
Employees also have the opportunity to attend external training courses to gain management and manufacturing qualifications.
We have also donated a quantity of roofing materials free of charge to help support training programmes and develop roofing skills with students at local training colleges.
