We are currently looking to recruit a Shift Leader. The Shift Leader role is to ensure a continuous improvement in safety, quality, and performance achievement in line with company requirements.
Safety and environment – Ability to promote health & safety within an established team.
Active involvement in the implementation of H&S procedures.
Implement approved actions to resolve incidents/accidents.
Quality – Ability to record and monitor timber non-conformances on the QA database.
Implement approved actions to resolve non-conformances.
Active involvement in the implementation of procedures.
Performance Management – Records updated within all departmental areas and kept to deadlines.
Ability to successfully contribute and motivate within an established team and to meet departmental deadlines and targets.
Resource Planning – Accurate records and procedures. Team Working.
General – Prompt meeting attendance.
Communicate with facts and data.
Build relationships with Shift Managers, other shifts, team members, maintenance.
Key Measures of success – Continuous safety improvement.
Continuous performance improvement, accurate SAP stock records.
Lead Kaizen and 5s improvements.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Knowledge – Reliability, conscientiousness, structured & methodical, questioning, IT skills, self-development, motivation, leadership, change agent.
