Marley SolarTile® has become one of the first products on the UK market to carry the CCPI mark, helping to provide assurance to product users that the information provided by Marley for these products is clear, accurate, accessible, up-to-date and unambiguous. We also hold CCPI Product Certification for our JB Red Battens.
Marley SolarTile® can be specified as a standalone solar panel roof tile or as part of Marley’s complete Roof System. Each solar PV roof tile is supplied as a complete system, including all necessary fittings and flashings, for straightforward specification and installation. The result is a source of renewable energy that provides tested levels of wind resistance and fire performance.
When installed as part of the Marley Roof System, the SolarTile® becomes an integral part of the roof covering, protecting the home from the weather while also generating power. Suitable for new-builds or re-roofing projects, all components of the Roof System are designed and tested to work together, from the battens and underlay to the roof tiles, fittings and solar tiles. This helps to simplify specification, reduce installation risks and support long-term performance of the complete roof.
Marley SolarTile® is designed to form an integral part of the roof fabric and is fixed directly to the battens, replacing standard tiles or slates. The result is a flush fit, with the solar panel roof tiles sitting level with the surrounding roof covering and providing a sleek and unobtrusive roof finish.
As well as contributing to the solar tiles’ visual appeal, the flush-fit design of Marley SolarTile® eliminates gaps under or behind the solar panels. This prevents birds from nesting and minimises maintenance requirements, helping to ensure that the solar roof tiles deliver consistent long-term performance.
The 410Wp Marley SolarTile® photovoltaic roof panel provides a higher peak power output than the 335Wp panel, delivering up to 410Wp per tile. This increased capacity allows homeowners to generate more electricity from the same roof area or install fewer tiles to achieve the desired system output.
Suitable for both new-build and retrofit projects where maximising energy generation is a priority, the 410Wp SolarTile® offers the flush-fit design, integrated flashings and tested wind and fire performance that the Marley SolarTile® range is known for.

The 335Wp Marley SolarTile® is recognised in the roofing industry for its straightforward installation and reliable performance and has been installed on projects across the UK and Europe. It can provide up to 33Wp of peak output per panel and can be installed in arrays of any shape or size.
It is well-suited to domestic properties with limited roof space or roof obstacles such as dormers or roof windows. Its integrated design means a flush fit with the roof plane, providing a reliable renewable energy source while maintaining the aesthetics of the roof, along with tested wind and fire performance.

Installed in either a landscape or portrait orientation, Marley SolarTile® panels are easily combined using patented push-fit technology. This offers flexibility of design, enabling solar arrays to be arranged in any shape or size.
The solar panel roof tiles also feature 5mm panel spacing between tiles and hidden fixings that give a sleek, high-end finish.
Discover examples of UK projects that have installed Marley SolarTile® solar panel roof tiles. These case studies demonstrate how our solar PV roof tiles can deliver renewable energy while maintaining a sleek, integrated roof appearance for both residential and commercial applications.
For projects featuring non-standard solar panel layouts, we have a series of installation videos that demonstrate the correct use of flashing kits for each corner and junction. These videos have been created to guide installers through the process and ensure a consistent, weather-tight finish for the solar panel roof tiles.
For every five solar panels sold as part of the Marley Group, we support the planting of a tree through charitable organisations across the world.
Known as the #FusionForest, this collaborative approach supports the long term rehabilitation of natural ecosystems by teaming up with organisations with local expertise.
