Why Choose Marley SolarTile®?

Carrying an independent assessment of durability, the entire roof integrated solar system can be demonstrated to satisfy the NHBC Technical Requirements

Complete Solar Roof System - Complete Peace of Mind

With Marley SolarTile®, the integrated solar roof system has come of age to support homeowners looking to reduce the cost of running their homes.

Marley SolarTile® alone offers market leading wind and fire resistance, but when combined with the complete Marley Roof System, the security of a roof that works to keep the weather out, also works to generate power for the home.

Flush fit for enhanced kerb appeal

Marley SolarTile® is designed to form an integral part of the fabric of the roof.

Fixed directly onto the battens to replace a section of roof tiles or slates means a completely flush fit can be achieved, to provide a sleek, unobtrusive roof finish.

What's more, with no space behind the panels for birds to nest, Marley SolarTile® remains a very low maintenance, high performance solar solution.

Carefully designed for quick and easy installation

Colour-coded flashing kits makes Marley SolarTile® simple and fast to install, removing the confusion and cost of added materials on the roof.

For new roofs or extensions to existing buildings, regulations require that all tiles are fixed with nails or clips. Roof integrated solar panels, like Marley SolarTile®, can be installed easily in a new roof application. The solar panels and flashings can be fitted to the roof first and then the roof covering can be fixed around them.

Designed for new build and refurbishment on existing buildings
An ideal choice for both roof refurbishments and new-build projects, Solar pv roof tiles are provide an uncluttered aesthetic with no visible brackets or racking, as well as easy maintenance and our market-leading 15-year guarantee.

Marley SolarTile® can be fitted as part of a typical roofing project and installation is fast. Thanks to the patented push-together design, installation times for your solar rooftop can be less than one hour per kilowatt peak.
All in the panel details

Installed in either a landscape or portrait orientation, Marley SolarTile® panels are easily combined using patented push-fit technology to create solar arrays of any shape and size. As well as this, the industry leading 5mm panel spacing and hidden fixings give a high-end, sleek aesthetic to your solar roof.

Panel performance
Marley SolarTile® is the only roof-integrated solar system accredited with the highest resistance to spread of flame and fire penetration in all European fire safety tests, achieving BRoof T1, T2, T3 and T4.

The PV solar tiles also provide excellent weather-tightness and wind resistance, without the need for extra roof batten support, adhesive flashing rolls or fireproofing materials. The certified wind resistance for Marley SolarTile® is more than four times higher than competitor PV roof tiles and is suitable for even the most exposed locations.

Marley SolarTile® is compatible with the entire range of Marley roof coverings, including clay and concrete tiles and cedar shingles and shakes, and it is suitable for installation on low-pitch roofs.

Installation

See how simple it is to install the Marley SolarTile® system.

The solar panels and flashings can be fitted to the roof first and then the roof covering fixed around them. Integrated solar panels are also easy to install as a retrofit option. Simply remove the necessary section of roof tiles or slates, and replace with the solar panels. All that is left is to retile up to the flashings for a fully roof integrated solution.
