Lincoln Clay Pantile

A self-build project in the rural village of Old Dalby, Leicestershire is one of the first in the country to be completed using the Lincoln clay pantile, an innovative, easy-to-fix interlocking clay pantile.

All in the detail

The Lincoln interlocking clay pantile was launched by leading roof system manufacturer, Marley, in early 2016 and the project near Melton Mowbray is one of a number of developments already using the ground-breaking tile. The project at Yard Farm, in the village of Old Dalby, saw builders James Howden demolishing the existing house and constructing a new three-bedroom home in its place. Architects HSSP specified classic-style clay pantiles for the roof, in keeping with many of the older properties in the historic village.

Note: Lincoln case studies currently showing on the website are not an exact match to our new Lincoln 2024 range. These can be used to experience what the profile of the tile looks like on roofing projects. Due to slight changes to our colour range, in order to understand the texture and colour of the new Lincoln clay pantiles, we would suggest requesting samples.
