Quality and Environment

All our manufacturing sites have ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environment) certification. To support the continued adherence to these standards, as well as internal standards and procedures, we have Quality Managers and Quality Technicians, and EHS Managers at all of our plants. The manufacturing locations at Marley are Burton on Trent, Crewe, Reading, Glasgow and Gainsborough. We regularly review our processes and performance so we can consistently ‘get it right first time’ so customer expectations are not just met but exceeded. We are passionate about our products and constantly strive to find ‘better and smarter ways’ through manufacturing innovation and data analysis, whilst always being conscious of our environmental impact. Where possible, production waste is reworked back into the manufacturing process and any business impacts are captured, monitored and assessed for improvement periodically. We always operate within the applicable legislation, operational permits and consents and ensure all staff are aware of their associated responsibilities to continually maintain these.

We work in collaboration with other departments and supporting organisations such as suppliers and contractors for continuity of product quality, service experience and legal and standard compliance. We recognise that the key to our continued success is the development of our people so training and personal development is embedded into the business culture.

About our team

When joining the Quality or/and Environmental team, you will receive detailed and thorough training on your areas of responsibilities and how these connect to the overall business strategy and direction. We conduct periodic employee performance reviews where we discuss current and future progression opportunities within the business, including additional qualifications (external and internal options) which can be considered to support your role and future development. Although our sites are spread throughout the UK, we do work closely together as a team to share good practice and to support each other so collaboration is important for continued success.
